Professional Info

'Writer-in-Residence' was officially founded in 2016. I have collaborated with other businesses - including start-ups; established Arts professionals; food producers; and hospitality providers - to provide them with excellent, personalised content. I draw on a combination of written specifications; existing materials; my skills as an award-winning writer; and conversations with you as my client, to ensure that the finished product is not only what you need, but exceeds your expectations.

Writing is time-consuming, and the skills required vary from project to project. Consequently, this can mean that many entrepreneurs simply don't have the time available to devote to this vital area of their business. Furthermore, larger quantities of excellent written content than ever are now required in this era of constant communication with consumers. As your Writer-in-Residence, I will work alongside your existing team, shaping your individual insights into a cohesive, creative piece of Brand material.

Work Experience

Creative Content Specialist

2016 - Present

In the first year of operating as Writer-in-Residence, I gained valuable experience in a wide variety of projects. Highlights include the production of content for a website shortlisted by both CSS Awards and Awwwards 2016; the collation of a number of successful funding applications; and the completion of material which resulted in my client being honoured with a Local Enterprise Award. Since then, my business has continued to grow and I have attracted clients from all over Ireland, and beyond!

Hospitality Advisor

2008 - 2015

As an associate at the family business, I was granted first-hand experience of the unique challenges and rewards of running your own business.
